# The Body - The Legio Regalis ## The J'garn Family ## Dominarii - Personal guard of Mariposa. Often work alongside the Oculara/Specularii of the Ocularum in order to enforce the Empress' will. - They guard the Palace, and the most elite of them travel with Mariposa at all times (when she allows them). - These are the equivalent to Kaz'ad'an's Executioners. - They also guard the Regia District within Khomartum. ## Vigilarii - They are more highly trained than the Legionarii, but less than the Dominarii. These are the Khomartum city guards, and the warriors that are assigned to protect/guard the other Warden branches. ## Legionarii - Soldiers of the standing army. - Outside of wartime, the Legionarii patrol the lands of the Sovereignty. - They are the most populous branch, by far. They manage the borders of the Sovereignty, and make up the majority of the city guards in the major satellite cities. ## Hierarchy Each of the three branches mirror each other internally. The hierarchy is: Imperator → Praefectus → Praetor → Tribunus → Centurio → Novitii ### Imperator Regalis - Lady Lanessa J'garn ### Praefectus Regni The leaders of their respective branches, the Prefectus report directly to Lady J'garn. #### Dominarii #### Vigilarii #### Legionarii ### Praetor #### Dominarii - Mariposa's most trusted guards, her personal fighting force. - They follow where she goes at all times and ensure her safety. - The rough equivalent to Kaz'ad'an's *Executioners.* - One *Dominarii Praetor* is assigned as the personal guard of Lord Rhym, Lady Traxalim/Lord Kulgha, and Lady J'garn. - They command a small force of Tribunus. #### Vigilarii - District Leaders within Khomartum - Coordinate the forces that guard the other Warden branches #### Legionarii - Division/Regional Leaders. - Usually managing one large city and several small towns ### Tribunus #### Dominarii - Palace guards - One *Dominarii Tribunus* is worth ten *Legionarii Tribunus* in time, training, and fighting ability. #### Vigilarii #### Legionarii ### Centurio #### Dominarii - Regia District Guards. - The district surrounding the Palace and the houses of the three Warden families is tightly controlled. - Standard citizens cannot enter without explicit permission or invitation. - Only the Karavala, J'garn, Rhym, and Traxalim families reside here. - Envoys to the Oculorum Dominii - When the Oculorum needs assistance enforcing the Empress' will, they bring a squad of *Centurio Dominarii* - May only be elevated from one of the other branches.
